We won’t tell you exactly how to select an advertising agency, but we will make one suggestion: get to know the people. This is a business built on relationships, and what’s at the heart of relationships? People. That’s right. All of them.
Born and raised in Mexico, and a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, Nadia Schuster is our director of finance. In this role she leads all of our operations functions. Before, she was a senior executive in finance, accounting and data analytics, most recently working for a dental service organization that provided dentistry, orthodontia and optometry to children of underserved communities.
Let’s all get to know Nadia a little better!
You’re going on a road trip. Where are you headed?
I would be in Italy traveling from Florence to Positano along the Amalfi coast.
If you could bring back an artist from the past for one last show, who would it be?
You’re going toe-to-toe in a cook-off with Bobby Flay, and you pick the dish. What are you making?
Barbacoa, and I’d win. The seasonings are very simple but the real “how to” secret to a great barbacoa is fatty meat and cooking it long and slow…this is a dish that should not be rushed but if you are pressed for time, a pressure cooker could be an alternative.
If you’ve ever had a celebrity encounter, who was it?
Do you remember the Latin boy band, Menudo, from the ’80s? I ran into them at the Mexico City airport, in baggage claim. I was only 9 but I still remember all the details!
What is the best form of potatoes?
What’s Colorado Springs’ best-kept secret?
My mind always goes to food of course…street chicken at Luna Market (a local Latin grocery store).
Mmmm, barbacoa, fries and street chicken. When’s lunch?!
