Our board chair and agency co-founder Nechie Hall recently said, “We’ve always had the good sense to hire really great people.” It’s so true, and it makes a huge difference, especially in times of change.
We marked the 50th anniversary of our agency’s founding on April 1. In an unexpected yet very symbolic reminder of the value of flexibility, given remote-work mandates, the team gathered for an agency-wide Zoom toast to 50 years, the team and new work.
Steven Jacobs, in his third year with the agency, is now a digital and data strategist. Now in her fourth year at VJ, Melania Geltz is a senior account executive.
Nate Nicoll, broadcast media buyer, rejoined the agency in late March and immediately focused on adjusting and renegotiating clients’ media buys for the remainder of 2020, given dramatic shifts in consumer habits and media consumption during stay-at-home orders.
Ramsha Augatis joined our team as an administrative assistant, working remotely in Delaware before making the cross-country move to Colorado in late April.
Our new clients, hailing from across the U.S., represent the health care, travel and tourism, and construction categories. These new partnerships will all leverage our strategy, creative, digital and data, and media services.
In these uncertain times, I feel lucky to be surrounded, even virtually, by such a resilient, adaptable team as ours. We are committed to doing everything we can to keep our team intact and achieve the business goals we set for the year prior to COVID-19.
Now in our 50th year of business, Vladimir Jones is Colorado’s original independent, integrated advertising agency, with offices in Denver and Colorado Springs. We believe in brilliant brands and love making the world love them as much as we do.
