ACCOUNT SERVICES: The Account Services department is the hub of both internal and external relationships on behalf of the agency. They oversee the project from beginning to activation. Problem solving, proficient communication, and presentation skills are needed.
INSIGHTS & STRATEGY: The Insights & Strategy department identifies the thing that links the brand to their target in the most compelling and irresistible way. An ability to develop insights from large amounts of information, presentation skills, and PowerPoint proficiency are a must. The also figure out what makes people tick by collecting information and writing about customer behavior. Previous research experience, excel proficiency, strong writing skills, and the ability to interpret surveys are preferred.
CREATIVE: The Creative department is responsible for coming up with the big idea to create ground- breaking, tech-forward activations for our clients. Art direction/design or copywriting backgrounds are required and brand experience is preferred. Our Designers create physical experience to bring brands to life. Adobe Suite or Figma are essential. Our Production team ensures all live event projects are as organized and creative as possible by providing budgets and schedules to turn our ideas into realities. Strong organizational and communication skills are needed.
INTEGRATED MEDIA & DATA: The Integrated Media & Data department focuses on delivering the right message at the right time. The media planning discipline identifies preferred media channels (TV, Digital, Out of Home, Print, Audio/Radio, Social, etc.) among our target audience. The media buying discipline involves resources, market insight and personal relationships to negotiate and purchase media space, ultimately delivering the most relevant ads to our customers. An ability to use resources in building a recommendation that meets goals and presenting ideas in a compelling way are key to an effective media recommendation. An interest in media/advertising trends and journalism, and skills in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint are helpful in exploring a career in media.
The core driver behind planning and executing digital media campaigns lies within the data that informs the campaigns and data that is collected as a result. Understanding customer motivations, behaviors and media usage will play a big role in a coordinator's success as well as the ability to analyze data to uncover strategic insights and recommendations.
Salary: This is an unpaid internship
Schedule: Estimated requirement of between 10-15 hours per week. We are in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.
Location: The preference is Colorado Springs, CO as that is where our PR team is based. That said, we will consider remote candidates on a case by case basis.
