New Twitter profiles launched today, giving companies creative flexibility to make their presence more powerful with a "header photo." The header photo is an image that appears at the top of a member's Twitter page with a profile photo in the middle.
Sound complicated? No worries, let VJ help you get started. Download the PSD file below to help you begin building your own Twitter header photo, and the same image will appear whenever anyone views your profile on the web or on the updated iPad, iPhone and Android apps.
Like your Cover Photo, on Facebook, the Header Image space is your big splash. You can now upload a huge horizontal image that shows up well on computers and mobile devices that says something about you. Or your dog. Just go to Settings on the upper right, then Design on the left, and click on Change Header. Then upload an image from your computer. The original image size can't surpass 1252 x 626 pixels (with a max file size of five megabytes) and anything less than 640 pixels won't look so hot.
Once you add a Header Image, your existing Profile Image will appear in the top center of the Header Image. Feel free to replace that with something that might go well embedded in the other photo.
The background is meant to complement your Header and Profile images.
